PAYMENT

A valid credit card on file is required for all registrations and ongoing lessons.
A one-time registration fee of $43 is added to the first invoice for each new student.
The first invoice includes the registration fee, the remaining lessons in the current month, and the full following month.
After the initial invoice, lessons are invoiced monthly in advance.
Lesson spaces are reserved monthly. MiFa does not offer drop-in or pay-per-session registration for ongoing private lessons.
Written notice by email or text must be received before the first day of the previous month to stop lessons.
Example: To stop lessons beginning in November, notice must be received before October 1.
There are no refunds or credits for lessons that have already been booked or invoiced.
Prices are subject to change in February each year with advance notice.

LESSON COMMITMENT

Students are registered for a recurring weekly lesson time.
When a student cannot attend in person, an online lesson may be available.
Missed lessons are subject to MiFa’s makeup policy.
Lessons that have already been booked or invoiced are non-refundable.
Written notice by email or text must be received before the first day of the previous month to withdraw from lessons.
If the withdrawal deadline has passed, the registration continues until the next eligible month.

MAKEUP LESSON

One makeup lesson is permitted per quarter for each weekly lesson day.
To qualify for a makeup lesson, the administrator must be notified at least 48 hours before the scheduled lesson.
No-shows and cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of the lesson.
Makeup lessons are subject to teacher availability. A maximum of two available options will be offered.
Once a makeup lesson has been scheduled, it cannot be rescheduled again and will be considered completed if the student does not attend.
Makeup lessons are not available for group lessons.
No makeup lessons or refunds will be provided for cancellations caused by circumstances outside MiFa’s control, including severe weather, flooding, storms, power outages, or other emergencies.
If a teacher cancels a lesson, a substitute teacher will be provided when available.

PRIVACY

During lessons and school activities, MiFa may take photos or videos to celebrate students’ achievements and share school updates with our community. These photos and videos may be published on MiFa’s website, social media pages, or promotional materials.
